Hentian Puduraya

Puduraya dirasmikan Perdana Menteri Malaysia ketiga, Tun Hussein Onn pada 2 Oktober 1976. Sekarang, sebanyak 90 buah syarikat bas beroperasi di sini di samping perkhidmatan teksi ke Pantai Timur, utara dan selatan tanah air.

Menurut Penolong Pengurus Pengurusan Harta UDA Mall Sdn. Bhd., Ismail Hassan, agensi yang bertanggungjawab menyelia stesen itu, Puduraya dahulunya dipercayai sebuah landasan kereta api.

Ia kemudian dibina di atas tanah seluas 1.2 hektar dan terletak 3.5 meter di bawah jalan besar bagi memusatkan semua bas yang beroperasi di Kuala Lumpur di bawah satu bumbung.


Keluasan Puduraya meliputi 52,583 meter persegi dan kekal dengan 24 platform bas. Ia juga dibuka dari pukul 7 pagi hingga 12 malam.

"Kerana kesibukan itu, Stesen Bas Jalan Duta dibina bagi perjalanan ke utara dan Stesen Putra untuk ke Pantai Timur selain Puduraya sendiri yang dikhususkan untuk ke selatan.

Rapid KL - Integrated public transport system

Integrated public transport system consisting of rail and bus services in Klang Valley. It is 100% government-owned company under the Ministry of Finance.

In conjunction with the effort by the Malaysian Government to welcome tourists into the country, Rapid KL has come up with unlimited day travel for only RM2 promotion. This promotion commences from January 16, 2006 and is the most economical way to travel around the city. All the buses that are used are new buses to ensure that you have a comfortable and memorable ride in the city.




Touch 'n Go as your All-Day Pass

Definition
The Touch 'n Go card can be used for the payment of RapidKL’s all-day fare (Tempatan, Utama, Bandar and Ekspres buses, and RapidKL Rail systems). Every time a customer places the Touch 'n Go card on a RapidKL reader, the purse value is deducted automatically in accordance to the fares of RapidKL’s All-Day Pass.

Price
The customer can reload up to a minimum value of RM 10.

Value Deduction Method
Customers are required to place the Touch 'n Go card on a reader every time when boarding a bus or train. The maximum deductible per day value is applied, depending on the type of RapidKL service used. A maximum fare of RM 4 only is chargeable if a customer boards the Tempatan, Utama and Bandar buses. However, a maximum fare of RM 7 only is chargeable if a customer uses all the buses and rail services of RapidKL.
